Most integrated lighting arrives as a product. A tile, a panel, a module in a fixed size, and the ceiling gets drawn around it. We work the other way around. The lit surface is fabricated for the room. Any outline, curved or flat, ceiling or wall, up to the seam limits of the membrane. Our aluminum profiles are bent on our own CNC in Dania Beach, so the shape on the reflected ceiling plan is the shape that gets built. There is no module grid to design around and no standard size to compromise to.
That changes what a ceiling can do. One surface can be printed and backlit at the same time. It can be acoustic and lit at once, using micro perforated CLIPSO fabric where the perforation is invisible from the floor. A single plane can carry a recessed light line, a perimeter cove, a star field and a tunable white field, in one finish, from one drawing set, installed by one crew. The twelve systems below are how we categorize the work. Most real projects combine two or three of them. If you want to see it before you commit, we build a physical mockup first.

Two test reports we hold and can hand over now. The surface burning data is reported per finish and the laboratory assigned no classification, and we repeat that qualification everywhere the numbers appear.
42.0% diffused for the translucent membrane, 70.5% for the transparent one. Measured at Poznan University of Technology, method per CIE 130-1998. Use the 42% figure for backlit work. The transparent membrane does not hide the diodes. This is a test report, not a certificate, and it covers total transmission only.
White specimens. Gloss FSI 5 / SDI 300. Matte FSI 10 / SDI 300. Satin FSI 15 / SDI 250 (flame spread / smoke developed). The laboratory assigned no classification. The specimens were membrane only, not mounted as a finished ceiling assembly and not mounted per ASTM E2573. Not permitted in return air plenums on the data we hold. If the space above the membrane is a return air plenum, tell us early and we will design the cavity around it.
Both reports sit in the lighting section of our downloads library, next to the profile drawings for AP-301, AP-302, AP-305, AP-306, AP-307, AP-212, AP-213 and AP-216 and the AP-213 Revit family. Going through the library means you get the current revision instead of a file somebody saved last year, and we see what your project needed. If your submittal calls for something that is not in there, ask and we will tell you the same day whether we hold it.
