How Much Does a Stretch Ceiling Cost in South Florida?

A stretch ceiling in South Florida costs around $18 per square foot installed. We price every job as a project, so you get one total price after we measure. As an example, a 300 sq ft living room comes to about $5,400. Small rooms cost more per square foot, because the setup is the same.

What the price includes

  • The membrane, fabricated at our shop in Dania Beach
  • The aluminum track along the walls
  • Installation by our own crew and cleanup

Matte and gloss white are the same price.

What changes the price

  • Lights. Each recessed light or opening in the ceiling is priced separately.
  • Hiding pipes and conduit. A concrete ceiling with plumbing to cover, pockets for motorized shades or a very tight drop takes more work.
  • Backlit ceilings. A luminous ceiling is priced as a complete system, with the LED lighting included.
  • Acoustic and fabric. Acoustic ceilings and fabric walls are priced separately.
  • Shapes. Curves, several levels and custom shapes are priced from your drawings.

Examples from real projects

  • Two rooms, 463 sq ft, with 16 recessed lights: about $8,900.
  • Living room and kitchen, 493 sq ft, on a concrete slab with plumbing and conduit to hide and a pocket for motorized shades: about $9,600.
