What Lighting is the Best for your Space

Lighting is an incredibly important part of any room, and it can definitely make or break it. However, it’s pretty easy to look over it, or leave it for the last minute, especially when you’re dealing with other remodelling or general interior design. The thing is, lighting can definitely change the entire vibe of a room, add a specific mood or even make it look more modern!

Let’s talk about different options when it comes to lighting:

LED perimeter lightsare perfect for someone who’s looking to modernize their space. They can also create extremely different effects! White LED Lights can help create an almost angelic, dreamy glow, but they can also make a room pop with colourful lighting! They have become incredibly popular for younger kids, especially thanks to Tik Tok trends.

Here’s a video of our team installing perimeter lighting:

Recessed lighting is one of the most classic and refined ways to add lighting to a room. They can easily be integrated into stretch ceilings, and they offer delicate lighting to any room.

Light boxes are basically sources of light that are covered with the same material we use for stretch ceilings. They emit a soft glow which is perfect if you’re looking to create a romantic ambiance in your room.

Our galaxy ceilings are complex lighting installations that have a lot of flair and can make any room look fun and interesting. They create an optical illusion that makes it seem like you’re staring at a night sky! As you can see in the video below, we install small lights that are then cut out of the stretch ceiling. These lights can change colors at will, to create different moods.

Linear lights can be used for creative purposes, like this project over here! For this condo in Auberge our client paired satin ceilings with linear lights to create this minimalistic, artistic vibe.

Here you can see exactly how linear lights are installed and then cut out of stretch ceilings:

Basically, stretch ceilings can be combined with almost any light fixture out there. High gloss finishes look especially good, since they reflect the light onto the ceiling!
